The Company

WHO WE ARE

Archibald Excavating & Grading Inc was founded in 2019 by Dakota Archibald, a Shasta County native with deep roots in the North State construction industry. Based out of Palo Cedro, the company was built on a straightforward principle: do the work right, stand behind it, and build a reputation one project at a time.

Holding both a Class A General Engineering and Class B General Building license from the CSLB, Archibald Excavating is among a small group of contractors in the region qualified to take on the full spectrum of site development work.

The company maintains its own equipment fleet through D&K Equipment LLC, operated under the same ownership — meaning no subcontracting the iron. We show up with our own machines and operators, maintaining direct control over quality, timeline, and cost.
